Happiness of Blooming: A Landscape of Blossoms and the Heart

2024年春天，我們再次來到新北市萬里、金山區，迎接萬金杜鵑花季的盛放時節。

以「Happiness of Blooming」為設計概念，視覺構成採幾何而寫意的色塊與線條，展現杜鵑花綻放時的繽紛色彩。花開之際，斜屋頂的意象如同花落籽歸根的過程，象徵著「家」與「溫室」的溫暖意涵，呼應總策展人 CNFlower 凌宗湧所提出的精神願景 —— 期待新世代花農們在家鄉共創萬里杜鵑更多元的風貌與未來可能。

我們的裝置作品《一席尋心中風景》，希望傳達這樣一種感受：

在杜鵑盛放的季節裡，每一朵花都是獨一無二的生命力綻放。當人們坐於花田之間，手握一杯茶，隨花開而心開，所見不僅是斑斕景色，更是一方心靈的靜謐棲地。

花兒的生長，如同心靈的滋養，皆需細心呵護。這是一種對生活的哲學思考，也是一種自我實踐的生活態度 —— 勇於超越環境侷限，創造屬於自己的理想生活方式，讓夢想得以在更寬闊的天地自由翱翔。

In the spring of 2024, we once again returned to the blooming fields of Wanli and Jinshan Districts in New Taipei City, embracing the vibrant season of the Wan Jin Azalea Festival.

Inspired by the theme “Happiness of Blooming,” the visual design features abstract geometric forms and expressive lines, capturing the rich colors of azaleas in full bloom. The slanted rooftops within the imagery symbolize the gentle process of seeds returning home—an evocation of “home” and “greenhouse”—echoing the vision of chief curator CNFlower Ling Tsung-Yung: to inspire a new generation of local flower farmers to cultivate diverse futures and new possibilities for Wanli azaleas.

Our installation, A Seat Amidst the Scenery of the Heart, aspires to evoke a simple yet profound experience:
In this season of flourishing azaleas, every blossom radiates a unique vitality. Sitting amidst the sea of flowers, tea in hand, one’s heart opens with the blooms. Beyond the kaleidoscope of colors lies a sanctuary of tranquility for the soul.

The nurturing of flowers mirrors the nurturing of the heart—both requiring gentle care and mindfulness. It is a philosophy of living, a conscious way of life—courageously transcending limitations, shaping a personal vision of an ideal life, and allowing dreams to soar freely across boundless skies.
