Exhibition Yi Yun Xiang was curated to guide visitors through an unprecedented journey of incense appreciation, and to show the possibility of incorporating the culture of incense into modern life. The exhibition also featured texts on incense written by six Chinese calligraphy artists of different styles. The flow found in the strokes serves as an extended interpretation of various aromas, stimulating visitors’ olfactory and visual senses to create an alternative experience of the culture of incense.
